Meeting at international level: Fragments and Fragmentarities in the Humanities and in Cultural Studies- Frammenti e frammentarietà nelle discipline umanistiche e nei beni culturali

Urbino, 8 to 10 May 2023

From 8 to 10 May, 2023 a meeting at international level will take place in Urbino: Fragments and Fragmentarities in the Humanities and in Cultural Studies- Frammenti e frammentarietà nelle discipline umanistiche e nei beni culturali; the meeting is organized by the University ‘Carlo Bò’ of Urbino.

The aim of the meeting is that of bringing together experts and scholars from various fields in order to accomplish an interdisciplinary reflection concerning the nature of fragments, both relating to their material and textual connotation.
During the meeting the following paper will be presented: What remains of a codex: New perspectives for the description of fragments in Manus Online; the paper is co-written by the ICCU Manuscript Area and the University “Luigi Vanvitelli”.
